CrossFit is Universally Scalable

CrossFit is universally scalable! In the video below are a number of our members at various points in their #CrossFitAlgoa and health/fitness journey!

The first 2 ladies, Roxy and Lara are completing the Rope Climbs (Rx – as prescribed) while next Suprabha is scaling to “seated rope pulls to standing”.  Supa is using her legs on the ground to assist her to safely ascend to a standing height!

Next Taryn is rope climbing but to a reduced height thus scaling the distance to climb and thus workload, on any given ascent i.e. Making it slightly easier!

Grant was also climbing to this reduced height but then had to scale to lying rope pulls to standing, as his grip was “blown” (i.e. Fatigued), and he felt he was at risk of losing his grip.  With a chronic back condition, we smartly scaled to a safer yet still challenging rope climb variation!

We could even scale further to Rope Rows… much like Ring Rows but holding the rope.  All our our coaches at #CrossFitAlgoa are well trained to adjusting the movements (scaling) to appropriately match fitness level and ability for the appropriate training stimulus! Hence #CrossFit training at #CrossFitAlgoa is available to anyone, no matter your starting level of fitness!
