AFL Competition Training

The Always Fit League Competition Training Program is available to everyone, both Non-members and Members of CrossFit Algoa.

Members signed up on our Unlimited Packages get access to our AFL (Always Fit League) Competitors Programming. Non-Members simply join the AFL Competitors Program and receive online guidance from 4 x’s CrossFit Games Athlete Dave Levey. Dave holds the most CrossFit Games appearances as an individual athlete for South Africa.

Dave represented Africa as an Individual at the 2012 & 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games and as a Masters athlete at the 2018 & 2019. Reebok CrossFit Games. Dave placed 2nd in the Men’s 40-44 yrs at the 2018 Reebok CrossFit Games and 6th in 2019. He has coached a number of athletes to Regionals and the CrossFit Games, including Eva Thornton,  who won the Title of Fittest Women on Earth (Masters ladies 50-54 yrs) in 2018. Eva also placed 4th place in the Masters 45-49 yrs in 2015 /12th place Masters 45-49 yrs in 2017 at the Reebok CrossFit Games.

Eva started her career on the AFL Comp’s Training Program and has never looked back… Eva’s highlight is winning the title of “Fittest Women on Earth” when she won the women 50-54 yrs category in 2018.

Our AFL Competitors programming has the following 3 Tiers to cater for different athlete needs:
Tier 1 – Competitors & Masters Athletes
Tier 2 – Regional Hopefuls and Games Masters Athletes
Tier 3 – Seasoned Regional Competitors and Games Athletes
